YWCA BROOKLYN WELCOMES YOU!
YWCA Brooklyn’s Social Justice Community Center is a vital asset to the Brooklyn community, drawing thousands of participants annually to year-round programming that fosters a more inclusive and just society. We facilitate borough-wide events that expand opportunities for community education and plant seeds for long-term, sustainable change in Brooklyn communities. Our programming and partnerships focus on economic empowerment, women’s health and wellness, domestic violence prevention, anti-racism, and social justice advocacy through initiatives, events, and conferences. Our central location near Brooklyn’s largest transportation hub ensures accessibility from all parts of the borough.
We proudly collaborate with nonprofit and civic organizations that align with our mission, working together to create spaces for dialogue, advocacy, and community-building. Through these partnerships, our Social Justice Community Center hosts a wide range of initiatives, from community-supported gardens to cultural programming, performances, and civic engagement efforts. By strengthening collective efforts for peace, justice, freedom, and dignity, we continue to cultivate a thriving and inclusive Brooklyn community.
